click pics to enlarge Euphorbia punicea is an evergreen succulent that grows to approximately 12-15 feet in zone 10. Little is known about cold tolerance so Jamaican Poinsettia may be OK in parts of zone 9 shedding leaves in winter and coming back with new growth in spring. Might be a candidate for indoor culture due to very low water needs being a big advantage, but providing sufficient sun/light/hours likely would be the issue In Jamaica Euphorbia punicea is found growing wild in almost pure limestone soils in areas with little rainfall.
